JSTARS troops return from operations in Libya
U.S. Air Force Col. L. The combined U.S. Air Force 116th and 461st ACW and U.S. Army 138th Military Intelligence Company, flying the E-8 Joint STARS aircraft,deployed more than 300 members on short notice in March to support Operations Odyssey Dawn and Unified Protector off the coast of Libya. Lake Tobesofkee Water Survival Training
Aircrew members from the 116th Air Control Wing (ACW), Georgia Air National Guard, discuss water survival hoist training procedures with Capt. Casey, middle, air intelligence officer with the 128th Airborne Command and Control Squadron, at Lake Tobesofkee in Macon, Ga. Aug. 5, 2013. Upon completion of the training, five aircrew members from the 116th Air Control Wing (ACW), parent to the 128th ACCS, received hands-on training from C Company, 1-111th Aviation Soldiers, establishing the first water survival training between the 116th ACW and the Army National Guard. Lake Tobesofkee Water Survival Training
Lt. Col. Bill, a pilot with the 128th Airborne Command and Control Squadron (ACCS), Georgia Air National Guard, is hoisted into an HH-60/M Black Hawk medevac helicopter by the 78th Aviation Troop Command’s C Company, 1-111th Aviation, Army National Guard (ARNG), during water survival training at Lake Tobesofkee in Macon, Ga. Aug. 5, 2013.
