The 116th ACW hosted the eighth annual Boars Nest Large Force Exercise bringing together more than 20 joint-force units and 55 different aircraft for aircrew training in a realistic land and maritime threat environment. Crews flying the E-8C Joint STARS manned platform, used their unique battle management, command and control, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities, integrated with other Air National Guard, Air Force, Navy, and Marine aircraft, to complete maritime and land-based missions during the exercise.
