U.S. Air Force Maj. Jason Misencik, chief of scheduling with the 461st Air Control Wing (ACW), briefs staff delegates from several Georgia congressional and senate offices on the operation of the E-8C Joint STARS aircraft during their visit to Robins Air Force Base, Ga., Aug. 18, 2015. During the visit, the delegates received a mission briefing updating them on the JSTARS program and an orientation tour of the aircraft. Team JSTARS; consisting of the 116th ACW, Georgia Air National Guard, the 461st ACW and Army JSTARS, is the sole location for the E-8C Joint STARS flying operation providing one-of-a-kind manned, battle management, command and control, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance support to combatant commanders around the globe.
