U.S. Air Force Col. Thomas Grabowski, vice commander of the 116th Air Control Wing (ACW), Georgia Air National Guard, briefs staff delegates from several Georgia congressional and senate offices along with leaders from the 116th ACW, 461st ACW and Army JSTARS during a visit where the delegates toured Team JSTARS and the E-8C Joint STARS aircraft during a visit to Robins Air Force Base, Ga., Aug. 18, 2015. During the visit, the delegates received a mission briefing updating them on the JSTARS program and an orientation tour of the aircraft. Team JSTARS; consisting of the 116th ACW, Georgia Air National Guard, the 461st ACW and Army JSTARS, is the sole location for the E-8C Joint STARS flying operation providing one-of-a-kind manned, battle management, command and control, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance support to combatant commanders around the globe.
